Electrical stimulation

In the Inflammation phase, electrical stimulation at the systemic level induces a faster inflammatory response and increased vasodilatation increasing tissue oxygenation, blood flow, and temperature. In the proliferation phase, electric stimulation generates increased angiogenesis, collagen matrix formation, wound contraction, and re-epithelialization. In the remodeling phase electrical stimulation, produces an advanced remodeling.*
